What do you know to be true about God?
And a few little pieces:
The “Inevitable” Guests
(the husbands come every year to kiss their wives because they can’t last two days without them!)
Thanks, Brooke, for the sign to remind them that WoP is a GIRL’S ONLY RETREAT.
unfortunately, the sign didn’t seem to have much of an effect.
Finally, here’s the video from the garden party! Um, I did have it ready a week later, as I said in this post, but… it’s a long story. Miss you girls!
Here’s some initial photos from our spring garden party… I’m still working on the rest of them, and hope to have a video sometime this week.
We had so much fun wearing hats, eating dainty food while sitting on quilts. Quite a few of the girls made their hats, including Courtney. I loved it!
the lovely natasha.
When we arrived, Brianna promptly informed us that we had to call each other “dahrling” all day long. We did for five minutes… and promptly forgot.
At the party we talked about the meaning of our names, how God knows us by name, and how He will give us a new name.
That’s the simple version. I’ll tell you more soon. ❤
Just a little video to remind us of why we continue to study what we believe.
A picture of Delite and her attendants! The wedding went beautifully!
To set apart anything is to declare that it belongs to God.
Sanctification= from the greek word hagiazo which means “set apart” … it is the act of God “setting apart” a person, place or thing in order that his purpose may be accomplished.
Leviticus 20:26b I have set you apart from all other peoples to be my own.
I Corinthians 6:11 But you were washed, you were [set apart], you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
I Thessalonians 5:23 May God himself, the God of peace, [set you apart]. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Quote of the night:
[August] “Do you spell Elizabeth with an S or a Z?”
[Elizabeth “Dodie”] “I spell it D-O-D-I-E!”
